APO Counseling LLC opened its doors in 1995 under the direction of Anthony (Tony) Onorato. 

Our therapists are WV Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) and WV Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW). We are your complete counseling resource for providing outpatient counseling/psychotherapy services and information to individuals, couples and families.

People come to counseling for a variety of reasons. We all experience times in our lives of elevated stress which may require more help than we are capable of offering to ourselves. 

Sometimes we turn to family or friends first. But often, we need a trusted professional who can help us regain perspective and help us find solutions as we move on to the next course of action.

During times of grief, separation/divorce, major life transitions, or experiences from the past, counseling can help lift the burden from your shoulders and get you back on the right track.

We can help you deal with specific psychological or behavioral traits you would like to change. We'll help you explore the uncomfortable feelings in addition to helping you cope with the depression, 

anxiety or stress that may accompany it.
